Hey everyone! Starting of this week with a brand new playlist! I’m going to my first festival of 2016 this sunday: Boogie Down festival in Eindhoven. Can’t freakin wait! On today’s playlist I’ve selected some of the artists that are performing on Boogie Down. Now let’s hope for a little bit of sunshine…
Last weekend Coachella took place. A festival known for it’s boho looks and 70’s fashion vibes.
The California heat called for a lot of denim cut offs and crop tops this year. It’s a festival that attracks a lot of celebrities, and where there a celebrities, fashion will follow. Fashionistas came dressed for the sun and sand, and Coachella was filled with festival fashion at it’s finest, and some of the coolest spring and summer styles around were spotted at the annual music and arts festival.
Here’s a look at Coachella style 2015 . Because whether you’re actually going to a festival or not, everyone loves a little festival style inspiration, right?
I’ve selected a few stylish looks for you to shop!
A 10 piece essential packing list for a music festival. (Also proven useful for picnics, beach trips…)
1.It’s fashionable, and it’s functional: a backpack. This will leave your hands free to hold your drink, dance around and throw some mud around. Make sure you don’t overpack it, leave it light and preferably waterproof.
2.A water bottle. If it’s not allowed to bring your own, then make sure you buy enough water bottles on the festival grounds. Stay hydrated!
3.Bring some face wipes, they come in handy to freshen up when there’s no flowing water available.
4.Rainboots! Because..duh. Get a pair that does walk comfortable, and looks cool with your favorite dress & denim shorts.
5.A fashionable poncho or raincoat. There’s no way around it, you need to be prepared for rain.
6.You should also be prepared and bring some backup socks, dry ones or just cute ones to wear in your sneakers, boots or sandals.
7.A nice sweatshirt to wear, once the sun goes down. Make it a really cool or cute one ;-)
8.Bring a bikini or bathing suit. It can be worn as a cute top and appropriate wear for when the temperatures rise in the crowd.
9.A hat! A floppy hat, snapback or beanie. Just make sure you’re not blocking the view from the people behind you. Don’t be that girl….
10.Sunnies! To block the sun or to hide the bags under your eyes.
