Sometimes it’s nice to take pictures and not have think about perfect editing, or a perfect feed like on Instagram. And those selfie filters are the BOMB. (Am I right?!)
Check out my Snapchat Photo diary of march!
I attended the Diva Professional Styling Event at John Beerens. Check out my report here.
It was nice to attend a blogger event again, and I could just take my bike because it was held in the city where I live. (Tilburg)
After I came home, I decided to enjoy the lovely spring weather on my balcony. In these comfy fluffy slippers..sunday vibes!
Since I’ve learned how to make my own pizza, I never buy the frozen ones in the supermarket anymore. I just love to make them myself, it does take some time, but it is sooooo worth it.
Veggies and lots of cheese.
Tadaaa! I’ve added some prosciutto and more parmesan cheese.
Daisy hates mondays as much as me. <3
I ordered these Puma sneakers online. Tried them on, but wasn’t feeling them.
I also ordered them a size too big. So I ended up returning them.
I work as a vocal teacher in Breda.
OOTD: Zara two piece, comfy cardigan, Fenty x Puma creepers and a baseball cap. Not exactly super trendy Instagram posing outfit material, but sometimes I just wear things that are comfy for long days of teaching.
Comfort food after a long day : home made saoto soup.
On the road again….
Sometimes my students forget to set their alarm clock ;)
My workplace once a week. Love this city, would like to move here or somewhere near it.
From where I stand.
Favorite sneakers: I really wish I bought more colors of these, when I had the chance.
I had a lovely dinner with friends. We’ve been meaning to go out to dinner since last year october, but had to reschedule it constantly, since we’ve al been busy with work and school. It took us a few months, but the food was great and I haven’t had that much fun in ages.
The auditions have started for the new class of 2016-2017. It’s always so much fun to hear new young singers. We let them prepare and perform a few songs, then have a little interview with them. We ask them about their motivation and dreams. Some of them are really talented.
Life’s too short for boring hair part #9939423642342342634. I tried out a new darker haircolor.
Last friday was a big day for me. I had to visit my neurologist in the hospital for a check up. I really hate hospitals, and was so nervous. More on my illness here.
Snapchat selfie to distract myself…
Even though this time I didn’t have to though tests or scans, it felt scary.
I was 20 minutes early. Then had to wait 25 minutes more…
My appointment went fine. Nothing had to be changed, and I haven’t had a grand mal seizure for over a year!
This really made my day: I’ll probably be able to drive again soon.
Not being able to drive as a musician isn’t very practical. For me it meant I had to say no to a lot of jobs and gigs this past year. This feels like a little piece of freedom being returned!
New bag full of meds. It’s still there and will have to stay on my meds for at least another year. But I’ve accepted it now. I have epilepsy, it’s something that wasn’t a one time event.
My boyfriend treated me to a yummy home made celebration lunch after we came home from the hospital :)
My boyfriend was never really a cat person. They’ve learned to accept each other over the years, and sometimes have little awkward cuddle moments like this.
013! On friday I went out to Tilburg’s best hiphop night: Le Scratch. Had such a great evening, danced and sang my heart out all night with friends. This scary dude was on the screens outside.
I came home at five in the morning. Happy, a little tipsy and hungry. Nothing beats a snack attack after a night out. My boyfriend waited up for me, and we watched an episode of X-Files together. I fell asleep half way though….
