I had to kill some time after work yesterday in Utrecht, all trains going back home were cancelled due to some problem. So I decided to make to most of it, and do a little shopping and enjoying the nice weather outside as well.
I live in Tilburg, which doesn’t really have too many great shops and doesn’t sell MAC products anywhere. So naturally I just had to visit the Douglas in Utrecht.
I really needed some new foundation, and I felt it was time to change my foundation routine. I’ve been using the Studio Fix Fluid foundation for a looooong time, and though I love the coverage, and it’s longlasting finish, it makes my skin look a little dull after a while.
I went to the MAC counter and the girl who worked there showed me the Matchmaster foundation. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s new here in the Netherlands, or maybe I just never noticed this foundation.
The coverage is a bit less than the Studio fix fluid foundation, but that was my goal for the summer. A more natural look.
She also advised me the Prep+Prime Natural Radiance Base in Radiant Yellow and the Prep+Prime Highlighter pen in Bright Forecast. The combination really gives my skin a nice ‘glow’ and I really love it so far. Still have to try it out for a longer period of course.
