I’ve been a big fan of Kiko Cosmetics ever since I’ve been to one of their shops last year in Italy. Their products are beautiful, good quality and very affordable, which is a really good combo, right? I heard that a Kiko shop opened at the Amsterdam Central Station, so when I went to Amsterdam last week to visit my friends’ exhibition and the AMFI fashionshow, I knew I had to pay it visit and SHOP! Unfortunately the trains were a nightmare, so I arrived an hour later than planned, and only had about five minutes before had to leave again. So it ended up being a really short but sweet shop session. Hopefully next time I’ll have some more time and really try some more stuff out. I picked up these two lipsticks, the Deco Delight lipstick in Frison Rose and the Velvet Mat – Satin lipstick in Natural Rose.
Are they a match made in Kiko heaven? Check out my review and swatches!
The packaging is really what made me buy these lipsticks. How cute is the dotted purple Deco Delight lipstick and how beautiful is the metallic holographic Velvet Mat – Satin lipstick?
Not only the packaging is dotted. The lipstick itself has dots all over as well. The color looks a little bit more red in this picture, but has a more pink feel when applied.
Again, how gorgeous is this lipstick? It opens by pushing the top and then pulling the lipstick out.
Top: Deco Delight lipstick in Frison Rose. Has a nice pink tone, satin finish, quite glossy.
Bottem: the Velvet Mat – Satin lipstick in Natural Rose. A nice brown, nude color. The finish isn’t as matte as I expected. It really feels a bit velvet like, not as drying as most matte lipsticks.

I’ve been wearing these two new beauty’s non stop. There’s nothing spectacular about them, but they are really nice everyday lipstick colors. They are lipsticks that won’t last all day, but will survive an hour or two, you will have to re-apply them after a few drinks.
What do you think of these Kiko lipsticks? Do you have any Kiko products I should really try? Tell me in the comments!
