MAC ‘Pure Heroine’ is part of a limited edition with singer Lorde and described as deep plum with an amplified finish. Too bad the lipstick packaging design is normal. I would’ve loved a cool design that resonates with Lorde and her style, like they did with this shade of lipstick. I mean the Rihanna collection did that too right? The lipstick itself is very nice, I love the color, a deep plum/berry if you apply it once, and it turns a little darker into a purple shade when you build it up. It’s nice and creamy, however it does slip into the liplines. The color lasted for a few hours when I wore it last week. It’s a great color, not something I would wear to work this dark, but I love wearing bold colors on days off. I did have a bit of trouble applying it evenly, so it looks quite dark on this pictures I took. It leaves a slight stain after a wearing it.
I also bought the ‘Worldy Wealth’ blusher, from the MAC Moody Blooms collection. It’s a really nice soft and warm blusher, which maybe is almost a bronzer. It has a shimmering peachy bronze to it, which I love for summer. It’s very blendable, it has great color payoff and lasts about 6 to 8 hours when I wear it. It does however emphasize my pores when it sinks and settles in after a few hours. I’ve combined it with my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar. I love these together!
