Hey! As you probably already know, tomorrow it’s halloween! I’ve been watching so many cool tutorials last week, I just had to share some of them with you. In need for some inspiration for tomorrow’s trick or treat? From melting skulls to a jewel encrusted E.T.
Here are my favorite Halloween tutorials:
“I’ve heard a rumor from Ground Control
Oh no, don’t say it’s true ….”
Ashes to Ashes
David Bowie: 1947-2016
I woke up today and really thought it was a hoax. On my way to the dentist this morning I was listening to the radio and heard it was really true. My musical hero, my inspiration..I burst in to tears listening to ‘Ashes to Ashes’. David Bowie, you will be missed.
Maybe you’ve already spotted it in my latest OOTD blogpost; this marquee circus letter. It’s such a cool item, I just had to share this with you. I bought it at Hema, a few weeks ago. They’re available in all letters of the alfabet, as well as a star, the Eiffeltower and the “&” symbol. Cute, right? The letters need 2 AA batteries, and as you can see, it has a on/off switch on the side. It also has holes on the back, in case you want to hang in on your wall.

H&M has a really cool homeware department. Sadly we the H&M in my city doesn’t have one, but that doesn’t stop me from making endless homeware wishlists. Especially since it’s almost my birthday and Christmas. Not that I’m a big fan of Christmas decorations, but I am addicted to buying candles, candle holders, pillows and other little interior things…One thing that’s definitely missing is that cute little marble plate that everybody but me seems to own. Even better: H&M has plates, cups, frames with a light or dark marble print!
The homeware collection of H&M is always trendy and affordable. Great for whenever you feel like changing up things, but don’t have a huge budget to spend. The thing of it being so budget friendly makes it a little bit risky for me, since I always end up buying 4 candles instead of one.. Maybe it’s better for my bank balance that there isn’t a store in my city.
I love the mirror, it has a lovely antique vibe to it, and what do you think of the cute little pineapple candle holder? Do you ever shop at H&M home?
All items are available at H&M Home.
Hi! It’s time for my weekly Friday Favorites!
I would love for you to share some of your favorites from the week in the comments, and if you are a blogger with your own Friday Favorites, please drop the link to your #FFavorites posts, too!
I’m done. Done with the grey/granny hair. It’s such a hassle trying to get to the right shade, it fades, my hair keeps warming up and on top of that, it costs a lot of money… Every visit to the hairdresser takes a full day of bleaching and I’m slowly ruining my bathroom with all the blue and purple silver shampoo. I mean, I really love it, but I’m really done maintaining the color. Also, for some reason it looks amazing in my blog pictures, but in real life it’s dry and has yellow/orange patches, which I hate.
So I’ve been spending a lot of time on Instagram and Pinterest, looking for some new hair color inspiration. And I found it! It’s pastel, warm, peachy pink and so beautiful! It’s rose gold! Check out some of the amazing hairdo’s I found online.
After the ‘Boyfriend’ Jeans and ‘Mom’ Jeans, there’s a new jeans trend. Move over y’all! Here is THE new must have jean cut: the ‘Girlfriend’ jeans.
The ‘Girlfriend’ jeans is kind of a similar type of jeans as the boyfriend jean cut, but just a little bit more girly. It’s a classic type of jeans, tighter, higher rise, and has a tapered and slim and straight leg. Curious? Take a look at some of the jeans I’ve picked out for you!
Last week Nicki Minaj dropped her new video for “Feeling Myself” featuring Beyoncé. Queen Bey and Queen Nicki look like they’re having a lot of fun, and the styling is ON FLEEK! Big party at Coachella with these two ladies. LOVE!
Taylor dropped the video for ‘Bad Blood’, which features a super kick ass Femme Fatale gang of superstars, including Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevigne, Martha Hunt, Ellie Goulding, Gigi Hadid, Serayah McNeill, Zendaya Coleman, Hayley Williams, Hailee Steinfeld, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay & Ellen Pompeo and Cindy Crawford. The song and video also features Kendrick Lamar. Now that’s a collaboration I didn’t see coming! Love the song, love the video. Looks like a freaking action movie.
